Scope of Work

  • Transit Architecture
  • Urban Design
  • Public Art Project Management

Project Description
The Lowry Foundation received grants to design and build a series of transit shelters at key locations as a way to promote both the use of transit and public art. Mark Leese, while with a previous firm, worked with three artists (Eric Johnson, David Griggs, and Mike Mancarella) on the development of the concepts, then produced the construction drawings and provided assistance through the construction process.

Each one is a unique reflection of the artist’s interpretation of Lowry’s United States Air Force heritage.
